This toolkit has been developed to support Faith, Sporting, Voluntary and other Community Organisations in Calderdale to understand and meet their requirements in relation to the safeguarding of children and adults at risk of abuse or neglect.
Child: Anyone under the age of 18.
Adult at risk: Someone aged 18 or over whose need for care or support means they are (or may be) unable to protect themselves from the risk of, or the experience of abuse or neglect.
